Wi-Fi & Fiber Optic Media Converter Optical Network Unit Price in Bangladesh
Optical Networking Units are the subscriber boxes installed at the end of fiber optic network systems. The ONU allows for network activation, service installation, and performance optimization. ONU boosts precision, reduces costs, and enhances troubleshooting for fiber optic and Wi-Fi network services.
At Rans, we stock reliable fiber optic and Wi-Fi ONUs for carrying internet and cable TV signals from coaxial cables to copper interfaces. For the best video, voice, and broadband services, check out our stock of high-quality ONUs

Optical Access System
We have different types of ONU serving different kinds of access systems. The most common access systems are:
Gigabit Passive Optical Network (GPON)
This is a point-to-multipoint access system designed to save optical fiber resources. It uses ATM for voice, proprietary encapsulation for voice, and Ethernet for data.
GPON provides up to 2.5 Gbps with Quality of Service (QoS) full business protection. It also provides full Operations, Administration, and Management (OAM) functions with ethernet access to the end user. GPON is more efficient compared to EPON.
Ethernet Passive Optical Network (EPON)
EPON is another type of point-to-multipoint access system. Unlike GPON, EPON uses Ethernet packets instead of ATM cells for voice. EPON uses a single optical fiber to serve multiple clients on a fiber-to-the-premises (FTTP) or fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) network.
EPON provides up to 1 Gbps upstream and downstream. The end-user has access to data such as the internet, video, and voice services. EPON often costs less than GPON.
