The router in itself is very good. It does what it's supposed to do. You plug your sim in and it's ready. Although the software/UI errors on some features and has some features like telnet and radius server configurations hidden, which is available and accessible through the web interface, but they are hidden. You'd have to search the internet to find these options. A simple nmap port scan showed that these ports along with upnp was open by default for some reason, which pose a huge security risk. The router also shows error in the repeater function, when selected to work as a repeater, it doesn't connect to that router, although in the interface it shows that it is connected to a router. This is a software error I presume. Nevertheless this is after all an Indian variant. The network connection was pretty stable and the only sim I had problems with was grameenphone, other than that it seems to work fine. There is also no way to update the firmware automatically properly other than going to Indian DLink website and updating the firmware from there and then manually flashing it. However, I am satisfied with the router CLI and whatever binary files it comes with. The main reason I favor DLink routers over TP-Link's are because of the user's access to the CLI.
