What is Cat-6, Cat-7?

Cat-6 and Cat-7 are two types of twisted pair cables commonly used for Ethernet networks.

Both Cat-6 and Cat-7 cables use four twisted pairs of copper wires and have the same RJ-45 connectors as other Ethernet cables. However, Cat-7 cables are bulkier and more expensive than Cat-6 cables, and they require specialized connectors to ensure proper shielding. The choice between Cat-6 and Cat-7 cables depends on the specific requirements of the network.
