Class 10 Speed

What is Class 10 Speed?

Class 10 is a speed classification for SD cards that indicates their minimum sustained data transfer rate.

SD cards that are Class 10 compliant have a minimum write speed of 10 MB/s, which means they can write data to the card at a sustained rate of at least 10 megabytes per second. This makes them suitable for use in devices that require high-speed data transfer, such as digital cameras, camcorders, and other devices that record high-definition video. The Class 10 rating is the highest rating in the SD card speed classification system, and SD cards with this rating are generally faster and more reliable than those with lower ratings.
