COM

What is COM?

COM stands for Component Object Model. It is a binary interface standard for software components in the Microsoft Windows operating system.

In COM, software components are represented as objects that have a set of properties and methods that other software components can interact with. COM provides a way for different software components to communicate with each other, regardless of the programming language or environment in which they were created. COM is widely used in Microsoft Windows operating system and Microsoft Office applications.
