What is Maintenance Box?

A maintenance box is a component used in some inkjet printers to collect excess ink during cleaning and maintenance cycles.

This excess ink is collected in the maintenance box to prevent it from dripping onto the paper or other printer components. The maintenance box typically needs to be replaced periodically, as it can become full or saturated with ink over time. The lifespan of a maintenance box can vary depending on the printer model and the amount of printing being done. Some printers may also provide a reset function that allows the user to extend the lifespan of the maintenance box by resetting the ink level to zero after replacing it.
