Optical Heart Sensor

What is Optical Heart Sensor?

An optical heart sensor is a type of heart rate monitor that uses LED lights to measure the blood flow in a person's wrist or finger.

When the heart beats, the blood flow changes, and the optical sensor can detect these changes to measure the heart rate. Optical heart sensors are commonly found on smartwatches and fitness trackers, and they are often used to track physical activity and monitor heart rate during exercise.
