Plug & Play

What is Plug & Play?

Plug and play (PnP) refers to a feature in computer hardware and software that allows devices to be automatically detected and configured without the need for manual installation or configuration by the user.

When a device that supports plug and play is connected to a computer or other device, the system will automatically recognize the device and install any necessary drivers or configuration settings. This can save time and reduce the complexity of setting up new hardware or software. The plug and play feature is supported by most modern operating systems, including Windows, MacOS, and Linux.
