What is Processor Turbo Frequency?

The Processor Turbo Frequency, also known as the "Turbo Boost" or "Turbo Core" frequency, is the maximum clock speed at which a processor can operate when one or more of its cores are under a heavy workload.

It is usually measured in GHz (gigahertz). The Processor Turbo Frequency is designed to provide additional performance when it is needed, such as during intensive tasks like gaming or video editing.
