What is Propeller?

A propeller is a device that is used to create thrust and propel a vehicle through a fluid, such as air or water.

In the context of aircraft and drones, propellers are typically rotating blades that are mounted on an engine or motor and generate lift by pushing air backwards. The shape and size of a propeller can affect its performance, including its speed, efficiency, and maneuverability. Propellers may be designed with a variety of different blade configurations, such as two-bladed, three-bladed, or four-bladed, depending on the specific requirements of the vehicle. Propellers may also be made from a variety of materials, including wood, aluminum, and carbon fiber. They may be fixed pitch, meaning the angle of the blades cannot be adjusted, or variable pitch, meaning the angle of the blades can be adjusted to optimize performance at different speeds and altitudes. In general, larger propellers are better suited for vehicles that require more lift, such as heavy aircraft or cargo drones. Smaller propellers may be used for lighter, more agile vehicles, such as racing drones or small airplanes.
