RCA Port

What is RCA Port?

RCA ports are a type of audio and video connector that is commonly found on a wide range of electronic devices, including televisions, DVD players, and gaming consoles.

They are also sometimes referred to as composite or AV ports. RCA ports typically come in sets of three color-coded connectors: yellow, white, and red. The yellow connector is used for video, while the white and red connectors are used for left and right audio channels, respectively. When connected to a compatible device, RCA ports allow for the transmission of standard-definition video and stereo audio signals. They are commonly used for connecting devices that do not have more modern connectivity options, such as HDMI or DisplayPort. One limitation of RCA ports is that they are not capable of transmitting high-definition video signals. They also do not support surround sound audio formats. Overall, RCA ports are a versatile and widely-used type of audio and video connector that provide a simple and reliable way to connect a range of electronic devices.
