What is SD/SDHC/SDXC?

SD (Secure Digital) memory cards are a type of flash memory card used in a wide range of digital devices, including cameras, smartphones, and tablets.

In addition to storage capacity, SD cards are also classified by their speed class, which indicates how quickly data can be written or read from the card. Speed classes are denoted by a number inside a circle, with Class 2 being the slowest and Class 10 being the fastest. UHS (Ultra High Speed) speed classes are also available, with UHS Class 1 indicating a minimum write speed of 10MB/s, and UHS Class 3 indicating a minimum write speed of 30MB/s.
