What is ISO?

ISO in photography refers to the sensitivity of the camera's image sensor to light.

A higher ISO value indicates greater sensitivity to light, which allows for faster shutter speeds and the ability to capture images in low light conditions without using a flash. However, higher ISO values can also result in more digital noise or graininess in the image. The optimal ISO value for a given situation will depend on factors such as the available light, desired image quality, and camera capabilities. Most cameras allow for manual control of ISO, as well as automatic settings that adjust ISO based on the shooting conditions.
