What is Print Head?

A print head is a component in inkjet printers that sprays ink onto the paper to create an image or text.

It typically consists of a small array of nozzles that are heated to create a small droplet of ink that is propelled onto the paper. The nozzles are controlled by a microprocessor that determines the size, location, and timing of the droplets to create the desired image or text. Print heads can be integrated into the printer itself or be part of a replaceable ink cartridge. Over time, print heads can become clogged or damaged, resulting in poor print quality or no output at all. Some printers may have a self-cleaning function that can help clear clogs, while others may require the print head to be manually cleaned or replaced. The lifespan of a print head can vary depending on the printer model and the amount of printing being done.
