Micro HDMI

What is Micro HDMI?

Micro HDMI is a type of high-definition multimedia interface (HDMI) connector used for transmitting high-quality audio and video signals from digital devices to display screens.

It is a smaller and more compact version of the original HDMI connector and was introduced in 2009. Micro HDMI connectors have a similar shape to Micro-USB connectors, but feature 19 pins instead of 5 pins. They are capable of transmitting high-definition video and audio signals, including 4K and 3D content, as well as Ethernet data and other digital signals. Micro HDMI connectors are commonly used in digital cameras, smartphones, and tablets, as well as other portable devices, to connect to external displays, such as TVs and projectors. They are often found on smaller devices where space is at a premium, and offer a convenient way to display high-quality multimedia content on a larger screen. Overall, Micro HDMI is a reliable and widely used connector type that provides a high-quality audio and video signal transmission from digital devices to external displays.
