What is Tri Band?

Tri-Band refers to a type of Wi-Fi router or access point that uses three separate frequency bands to transmit wireless signals.

Unlike dual-band routers, which use the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency bands, tri-band routers add an additional 5 GHz band to the mix.
