Retina Display

What is Retina Display?

Retina display is a high-resolution display technology developed by Apple for its devices, including iPhones, iPads, and Macs.

The Retina display is designed to make the individual pixels on the screen indistinguishable to the human eye at a typical viewing distance. This is achieved by increasing the pixel density of the display, resulting in a much sharper and more detailed image. The exact pixel density required to be considered a Retina display varies based on the device and screen size, but typically ranges from 220 to 326 pixels per inch (ppi). Retina displays also typically include advanced features such as wide color gamut, high contrast ratios, and improved brightness and power efficiency. Overall, Retina displays provide a high-quality viewing experience, making it easier to read text, view images and video, and perform other tasks on devices with these displays.
